is an American freelance photographer based in Sweden. Born in Mexico, raised in the US and Canada, he studied Art History and Philosophy at the University of Southern Connecticut and apprenticed as a photographer in New York City from 1990-1995. He spent two years at the Rehabilitation Center Piña Palmera in Oaxaca Mexico working on a video documentary on Community Based Rehabilitation and integration of the disabled. From 1997-2003 Alexander was employed as staff photographer at the Royal Dramatic Theater (Dramaten) in Stockholm and from 2004-2013 as Senior staff Photographer at the Royal Swedish Opera (Operan) and the Royal Swedish Ballet. He is currently being represented as an interiors photographer by the digital imaging service DIAKRIT.
